More Microsoft Teams tips from your IT Team…
Ctrl + Shift + M will quickly Mute or Unmute you during a meeting. This is a life saver!
During All-Staff some of us eluded to the “new” Teams meeting experience. There is a new setting where you can see up to 49 participants (squares) during a meeting and the large auditorium seating mode. In addition to the new participant views, you can also have your meeting in one window and a secondary Teams window to do chat, calendaring, etc. instead of navigating in the traditional one window.
Here are the steps to upgrade your Teams:
- Open Teams click on your profile in your upper right corner
- Select Settings > General
After the upgrade, you will need to reboot (at your convenience). We recommend playing around with your new meeting experience, you will notice your navigation bar during the meeting is up top instead of the bottom, and open up your Ellipses (three dots “More Actions button”) to see the different meeting options such as Large Gallery View and Together Mode
